Cars 9.30 to WIDECOMBE, (SX 719 768), where the leader will take the group to  park on Dunstone Down, (SX 708 763). 9.5 miles via Corndon Tor, Yar Tor, Dartmeet, R. Dart, Babeny, Rogues Roost and Two Moors Way.

Saturday, September 7th A Day Out in Sherborne (Saturday)

*9.00 at EXETER CENTRAL STATION for the train to SHERBORNE, where there are many places of interest to see, and for those who wish to walk, Sylvia will be leading a 6-mile walk in the area. Further details are available in the Newsletter.

*Cars 9.00 to SIDMOUTH, The Byes, (SY 136 899). 8 miles via Salcombe Regis, the Donkey Sanctuary and Weston Mouth. Three long, steep climbs, including steps.

No 55 Bus to Rewe, (2nd stop), where Pete will meet the group. 4.5 miles easy walking via Columbjohn, Killerton Park, Ellerhayes and Hayne and then to Silverton for lunch at the Lamb Inn. To book lunch, please phone Pete by Tuesday, 8th October. Return bus from Silverton at 14.45.

Cars 9.30 to BEER, Cliff car park, (SY 228 888). 8.5 miles via Branscombe, returning via the coast path. Hilly in places with one steep climb. A little lane walking in the first half.

*Cars 9.00 to MUTTERS MOOR car park, (SY 109 872), Peak Hill, Sidmouth. 10 miles down the coast path to the mouth of the Otter at Budleigh Salterton, up the R. Otter and a short climb onto Mutters Moor. Easy walking.
