Thursday, March 7th A short country walk near Newton St Cyres (Thursday)

*10.15am PARIS ST. No. 5B to Newton St Cyres. 4.5 miles in the area to the north of the village. Please bring a flask of coffee to have en route. Return to Newton St Cyres for a packed lunch in the arboretum behind the church, where picnic facilities are provided, or by bus for lunch at Bernaville Nurseries.

*9.00 for the EXETER GREEN CIRCLE walk. Please note: the meeting point for this walk will be Howell Road car park, EX4 4LZ., (SX 919 933) Anyone arriving with their car will be accompanied by the leader to the usual parking place, then ferried back to Howell Road for the start of the walk. 12 miles circular walk on the periphery of Exeter. Details of the Green Circle walk are available free from the Tourist Information Office, Exeter. Because of the nature of the terrain, lighter footwear may be more comfortable than walking boots. More detailed information of arrangements will be sent out and will also be available on the website nearer the date of the walk.
