*9.40am EXETER BUS STATION or Stand 27 on Cheeke St., 4A bus to Ottery St Mary. A mainly flat walk of 4 – 5 miles, along the river to Newton Poppleford. Please bring a flask of coffee. Lunch at the Cannon Inn. To book lunch, please phone Helen by Tuesday, 8 May.

*Cars 9.00 to EAST PRAWLE, parking at the village green, (SX 780 363). 8.5 miles, using bridleways, crosscountry to Hallsands, returning via the coast path, taking in Start Point, with its lighthouse.

*Cars 9.00 to POSTBRIDGE, DNP car park, (SX 646 788). 11 miles to Fur Tor and back, via East Dart River and Cut Hill. A strenuous walk across high moorland to Dartmoor’s most inaccessible tor.

*Cars 9.00 to COUNTISBURY, North Devon, A39 east from Lynmouth. Car park on left, opposite The Blue Ball Inn, (SS 746 495). 10 miles via Countisbury Common, Wingate Farm, Black Gate and Forland Point. A moderate walk, with good views.

Sunday, June 24th A long walk and a short walk from Golden Cap

*Cars 9.00 to STONEBARROW car park, (SY 382 932), near Charmouth. Janet will lead a 12-mile walk along the coast path, over Golden Cap and beyond Seatown, then inland along tracks and footpaths via Symondsbury, Colmer’s Hill, Hell Lane and Chideock. Ricarda will lead a shorter, and more leisurely 8-mile walk via Golden Cap, Seatown and St Gabriel’s. Tea and home-baked cakes at the cars, weather permitting. Sunday, July 22nd Coast and countryside from Heddon's Mouth

*Cars 9.00 to HEDDON VALLEY NT car park, (SS 654 480), where charges apply for non-members. 11 miles, beginning with a short, steep ascent to Peter Rock, then along the coast path to Red Cleave, returning via Holdstone Hill and Trentishoe Down.
